this is gonna be a post explaining the events leading up to why on moshi online, moshlings and items are being taken out and why now?
in 2023, after moshi community closed a few people have came to me wanting to start another private server with the old files, but what we were all inconsiderate of was the fact we had no permission to re-use those assets for other private servers.
i had the copium for a really long time, “well, what’s on the internet is on the internet forever.” but this is not a moral or ethical way to go about this.
in return of acting like that. i have destroyed those friendships, trust and connections to those i was once so close with. you know who you are. you’re all appreciated for your work and efforts in this community.
it took a lot of self development, work and therapy this past year to learn how to take accountability as well as communicate better to get to this point.
but accountability is the first step, amends is the second step so we have been working and talking with the team from moshi rewritten/community and i have apologized over and over but it’s my future actions that matter.
i have gotten them in contact with mind candy too so they could get some form of closure on what happened with moshi community and we have been auditing what they will allow us to keep or want us to get rid of. we are grateful them for allowing us to keep most due to the gravity of our past actions.
we also gave them the proper credit that they so well deserved, appreciation and should’ve had in the first place. sure, moshi community wasn’t perfect but it doesn’t take away the soul and heart that real people put into it.
this post shows that moshi online is no better, but with time we can only better as people and try to correct the errors of our ways. with the recent exposure, moshi monsters coming back, moshi rewritten closing and being an approved fan-server by mind candy.
i want to be reunited again after i have divided us as a community with my mistakes.
forgiveness and healing takes time. i can’t take back the betrayal and the fact i have divided the community with slander about moshi rewritten/community staff who did not ever deserve it.
but we can accept that life moves on, apologize, and make amends. if they ever forgive me, that’s up to them to decide but i am doing my part in making things as right as i can.
this is a big shift in moshi online’s time and we’re just trying to come into this as morally and ethically as possible for not only new comers but the community as a whole as fans that just enjoy moshi monsters.
with the world being so divided, i want this to be a safe space for everyone and it took a lot of accountability and communication to come to this point.

- embrace differences 2021 poster been replaced with a new image
- purrsley removed
- purrsley statue removed
- feta plush removed
- richy statue removed
- louisette removed
edit: all the removals for Moshi Online are done now. this is the complete list
this might seem like a blow, and it is. but what matters is paving a good path moving forward. i’m sorry the community and all the staff had to be wrapped into all of this because of bad decisions i’ve made but i’ll correct what i can and we’ll move forward better for it.

oh, 1 more thing popov, darwin, woodsworth and warwick were made by the Moshi Community team, not ours. there was miscommunication between the 2 parties that have since been resolved.
